The Art of Influence Koan Seminar #3

Respecting boundaries

“Respecting each other’s boundaries can mean the difference between family peace and utter discord.”

“Instead of unleashing unhindered wrath upon each other or resorting to living separately to stay out of each other’s sight, showing respect for each other’s boundaries, even during an argument, can prevent many married couples from taking the path of the “war to end all wars.”

“The same can be said in parent-child relationships. A lack of respect for each other’s boundaries is also the cause of conflict between many wives and their mothers-in-law.

Whether at the workplace or in the home, respecting one another’s boundaries is an important, harmonizing relationships principle to follow.”

The Art of Influence #3

-Koan Contemplation Seminar-

This kyouten (book) “The Art of Influence” is a source of inspiration and tips to transform yourself and contribute to the creation of Utopia in this world. In this seminar, we will study the teachings that will be the tips for each of us in our lives through contemplating on each Koan.

Harmonizing Family Relationships

This Sunday, we will be focusing on how to harmonize our relationships within our family. Having issues within the family is in itself, a part of the Workbook of Life we planned on before we were born on earth. Through the deep KOAN (words of wisdom for contemplation) we will receive from the Lord, we will find hints on how to solve family relationships, which is the root of how we form other relationships.

Another magnificent seminar given to us from Master Ryuho Okawa.
