Master Ryuho Okawa is the founder and spiritual leader of Happy Science. Born in Japan in 1956, he graduated from the University of Tokyo and later founded Happy Science to share universal spiritual truths. He has written over 3,000 books and delivered more than 3,200 lectures on topics ranging from spirituality to self-improvement.
El Cantare (meaning "The Beautiful Land" in Spanish) refers to the supreme spiritual consciousness that has guided humanity throughout history. In Happy Science, we believe El Cantare is the source of the core teachings of major world religions, including Buddhism and Christianity. Master Okawa teaches as the earthly manifestation of El Cantare.
